The Moseley team have once again been successful in winning the Kidderminster Cup, which is a seniors, Worcestershire County Golf Club Foursomes - match play competition.
The final was played at Blackwell on Sunday, May 24 and it was decided by the Tony Jowle & Steve Wilkins match which went to a sudden death playoff.
This was an extremely enjoyable match and our old adversaries Stourbridge gave no quarter.
Jowle and Wilkins secured a par at the first extra hole to lift the Cup after what I can only describe as a very nervous experience bearing in mind that they had come back from five down with eight to play.
This is a six month winter competition and on behalf of Moseley Golf Club and our Captain Brian Jobson I would like to express a big thank-you to the team for their support and committment through the winter period. They have made us all very proud and it has been a privilege to be their Captain. Terry Stacey.
